Amarena fruit syrup is an original product from Maraska, Zadar, and is unique in the Croatian and world markets. The production of Amarena dates from 1965 when Maraska from Zadar was the first fruit syrup manufacturer in this part of Europe. Amarena fruit syrup is produced from the natural juice of the maraska cherry, the indigenous fruit tree of Dalmatia, whose fruit, fresh or processed, is rich in vitamins and minerals. Mixed with water, Amarena is a refreshing fruit beverage, but is also matchless in fruit salads, cakes and other desserts. For its quality and authenticity, Amarena has won many prizes and awards.
