Ambrozije – honey liqueur

Ambrozije honey liqueur is the product of a centuries-old tradition of producing honey-based beverages. It was named after St. Ambrose, the bishop and patron saint of bees and beekeeping who, according to ancient legend, had been miraculously cured after consuming various honey products. Honey, the most important ingredient of the liqueur, has a high nutritional and energy value and unique natural healing properties. Its pronounced and succulent honey aroma is obtained by large quantities of honey used in liqueur production (250 grams of honey per one litre of liqueur). „Ambrozije” honey liqueur is highly flavoured yet surprisingly smooth to the palate, with a full taste and pronounced honey aroma. It is usually served at the end of a meal as a digestif for its beneficial effects on digestion.
